Promigás sigue avanzando en el proyecto Bidireccionalidad Barranquilla

TL;DR

Promigas has put into operation an additional 20 million cubic feet per day (MPCD) of natural gas transport capacity.
This increases the total capacity of the Barranquilla–Ballena bidirectional project system from 100 MPCD to 120 MPCD.
The project aims to strengthen national energy security amid high demand and supply challenges.
The CREG approved the project, which targets a delivery capacity of 170 MPCD by August 2027.
Promigas has progressively increased operational capacity, adding 66 MPCD, then 100 MPCD, and now an additional 20 MPCD.
The expansion creates a more robust transport infrastructure, better integrating the national natural gas market.
