En el Centro Tecnológico Hermana Paquita se desarrolló la primera edición del Certamen Reina de la Madre Tierra de Tecnológicos Verdes, en donde fue coronada la jovencita Naydelin Gabriela Cruz, del Centro Tecnológico Escuela Hotel Casa Luxemburgo.
