Граждан Беларуси обяжут сдавать отпечатки пальцев при проживании за границей
В Беларуси приняли закон о расширении дактилоскопической регистрации, который обязывает граждан сдавать отпечатки пальцев даже при нахождении за границей

TL;DR
- Belarusian citizens aged 14-75 must provide fingerprints if they have obtained foreign citizenship or residency and notified Belarusian authorities.
- Those residing abroad and registered with a consulate are also subject to the new fingerprinting law.
- Foreigners and stateless individuals will be fingerprinted when crossing the border, facing deportation, or applying for asylum or residency in Belarus.
- Fingerprints can also be taken from individuals unable to provide identification due to age or health, those who refuse, or found missing persons.
- Collected biometric data will be stored in databases of the State Forensic Examination Committee and the State Border Committee.
- Law enforcement, courts, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and border services will have access to this data, with potential sharing with foreign law enforcement agencies.
- Most new regulations start April 1st, while provisions for Belarusian citizens abroad commence July 1st, 2027.
- Separately, men of conscription age will require a military service status certificate for driver's licenses, passports, and ID cards starting February 11th, 2026.
