Puertos comerciales y turísticos en Nicaragua con alta actividad económica en la última semana
El compañero Carlos Aburto, gerente general de la Empresa Portuaria Nacional (EPN), brindó a detalle las actividades desarrolladas en las distintas terminales marítimas, lacustres y turísticas.

- From December 15-21, Nicaraguan ports handled 14 international vessels and over 106,000 visitors.
- Puerto Corinto imported 586 containers of goods from China, Thailand, and Mexico, weighing 10,559 metric tons.
- Puerto Corinto exported 689 containers of peanuts, meats, edible oil, and textiles to Vietnam, Colombia, Japan, and Italy, weighing 8,362 tons.
- A total of 1,275 containers, weighing 18,921 tons, were processed at Puerto Corinto, including a bulk carrier with 33,221 tons of wheat and paddy rice.
- 1,794 vehicles were imported from China, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, and Mexico via Puerto Corinto.
- Total international cargo handled at commercial ports was 119,065 tons.
- Tourist ports saw 106,120 visitors, with San Jorge welcoming 10,462 tourists to Ometepe Island, Granada serving 2,997 tourists, and Puerto Salvador Allende receiving 66,212 tourists.
