Apapachar o Apechichar

TL;DR
- In Mexico, 'apapachar' signifies a soulful embrace, distinct from a standard hug, conveying acceptance and well-being.
- The word originates from Nahuatl, meaning 'an embrace that envelops the soul,' representing a non-demanding, accompanying touch.
- Modern society has shifted from external controls to a culture of relentless performance, making individuals their own harshest critics.
- Industrial conglomerates allegedly employ experts to create environments that keep people constantly occupied, eroding critical thinking and capturing attention with ephemeral content.
- This constant pressure leads to increased consumption of medications and supplements for memory, tranquility, and sleep.
- The pervasive exhaustion is not accidental but a result of the system functioning at full capacity, leading to diagnoses of disorders and constant fatigue.
- 'Apapachar' is presented as a subversive act because it doesn't demand or optimize, reminding people of the need for embrace before productivity.
- Stoicism, particularly the teachings of Marcus Aurelius, is proposed as a guide to live with lucidity, accepting what cannot be controlled and focusing on one's internal response.
- Stoicism resurfaces as an urgent life plan, not to become harder, but to learn to live without breaking, by embracing oneself first.
